The Big into Energy series started as a set of vinyl-faced bag charms. Six characters — Love, Happiness, Loyalty, Serenity, Hope, Luck — each one tie-dyed in a different combination of colors, each one unique in the way that only a hand-dyed piece can be. The series found its audience immediately, and POP MART expanded it: phone charms, a wireless charger, a phone case, a snow globe. Then, on August 28, 2025, they released the piece the whole series had been building toward.
Rock the Universe is a 37cm vinyl plush doll — the largest THE MONSTERS release to date, and the first to carry every color from the Big into Energy palette at once. It is not a character from the blind box lineup. It is something separate: a single, definitive object that functions as the visual statement of what the series is about.
What It Looks Like
The body is long-pile plush — much longer and softer than the flocking used in the Lazy Yoga or 1:00 A.M. series — tie-dyed across the full body in yellow, orange, coral, mint, and sky blue, with patches of white breaking through the color field. No two dolls are identical. The dye process is random by design, which means the specific distribution of orange versus mint on your doll will be different from anyone else's.
The vinyl face is the same Labubu face — the wide grin, the serrated teeth, the pink rabbit ears — but the eyes here are different from any previous release. They shift from a warm amber at the top to a deep ocean blue at the bottom, with four-pointed sparkle glints suspended in the iris. The gradient is subtle in flat lighting and vivid under direct light. Photographed from above, the eyes read as almost fully blue; photographed head-on, they catch warm light and shift amber.
Around the neck is a pearl bead necklace with a silver heart pendant, engraved with "The Monsters" on the reverse. It is included with the doll and sits cleanly against the chest fur without disappearing into it, which is a detail that required specific fur length engineering to get right. The necklace is removable.
The Big Into Energy Series
Rock the Universe is part of a larger collection that launched on April 25, 2025. The original series consists of six vinyl-faced plush pendants — Love, Happiness, Loyalty, Serenity, Hope, and Luck — each one tie-dyed in a signature color combination. A seventh, rarer design called ID carries a 1/72 pull rate. Each pendant comes with a built-in key ring for attaching to bags, making the original series as much a wearable accessory as a collectible.
The same six characters were later released as phone charms, and the series expanded into a phone case and wireless charger. Rock the Universe sits at the top of this ecosystem: a 37cm doll whose fur incorporates every color that the individual pendants each express separately.
